We started in 2005 with a simple idea: help people cut through the noise. Families and businesses were tired of infomercials and empty promises, so we created branded educational television as a place where trusted hosts shared real solutions that make life better.
In 2008, our acquisition of The Balancing Act gave us a daily national morning time slot, opening doors for brands and bringing incredible talent — many of whom are still with us today. Over the next several years, we expanded to ten national shows spanning the topics of lifestyle, wellness, home services, and B2B solutions. By 2015, brands who participated on our shows were asking BrandStar to extend our storytelling support beyond the TV show offering, so we launched studios and marketing services, turning TV moments into full-funnel growth.
A few years later, we went local. Launching regional versions of our shows in 2018 gave small and mid-sized businesses the same storytelling power as national brands. And since 2021, we’ve welcomed boutique agencies into our ecosystem. This filled our team with specialists who know the industry, speak our clients’ language, and have experience in driving results.
