Success Stories
Problem: The onset of the pandemic had led to consumers becoming more cautious with their spending dollars. Jerome Alexander needed to find a way to better connect with potential customers in a rapidly changing marketplace.

Solution: At a time when many companies cut back on marketing, BrandStar never took its foot off the pedal with Jerome Alexander’s ambitious bi-monthly promotional campaign schedule. Instead of focusing on the negative impacts of COVID-19, BrandStar adapted the cosmetic brand’s creative assets to strengthen the messaging. The goal was not only to connect with customers within the social distancing environment, but also to provide appealing offers that convert customers into sales and are profitable for the client. BrandStar delivered successful campaigns via CRM emails, organic and paid media, which were all meticulously scheduled and monitored hourly to optimize conversions.

Problem: BrandStar, in its ongoing effort to deliver timely, educational programming to audiences nationwide, was preparing to produce a pandemic-centered segment of their show, The Balancing Act. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 shutdown made it impossible for a full cast and crew to shoot within our studio.

Solution: Utilizing the live-streaming capabilities of the Grass Valley DIGICASTER® within our control room, BrandStar was able to quickly adapt to produce a 9-minute digital segment of The Balancing Act. Celebrity Host Montel Williams was able to remotely interview Dr. Kateb, Direct Energy’s CEO Bruce Stewart , and actor RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), who shared tips on staying healthy and saving energy during the COVID crisis.

Problem: T2, a newly launched remote video editing solutions provider, had a dilemma. The COVID shutdown had created an instant demand for their services, but they had no plan in place for getting their message out. There was no time to waste.

Solution: Understanding the timeliness and huge consumer demand for T2’s solution, BrandStar quickly narrowed down the target audience. We then developed creative and launched an accelerated marketing campaign utilizing a robust communications plan that included ads on Google, Facebook and LinkedIn, all within a few days. T2 immediately began receiving quality leads and closing deals.
