Doug Campbell – Founder & Chief Growth Officer
Doug Campbell, a founding partner of O2 Media is currently the Chief Growth Officer for the hit morning talk shows The Balancing Act® hosted by Julie Moran and Designing Spaces®, our signature home improvement television series.
In 1994, Campbell and Alfieri co-founded the company that began as O2 Media, a pioneer in branded entertainment and now as BrandStar, continues to be a Leader in Branded Content Marketing.
Over the past 20 years, Doug has become an innovator within the Branded Marketing space. He has created, developed and produced hundreds of award-winning, educational television programs that have entertained, engaged and uplifted millions of viewer’s nationwide.
Campbell’s experience in marketing and advertising combined with the keen eye of a marketer has helped build associations and partnerships with well over 3,000 of the world’s largest well respected corporations and agencies including brands such as P&G, Kraft Foods, Disney, Nestle, Microsoft, Bank Of America, Domino Sugar, FedEx, Walmart, AT&T, State Farm, Time Warner, Verizon, Novartis, Western Union, DuPont, Citigroup and the US Government.
He has also produced award-winning programming for caused-based initiatives with celebrities such as Alan Thicke, Dan Marino, Fran Dresher, Joe Namath, Bruce Willis, Amy Grant, Blair Underwood, Bobby Flay, Denise Austin, Olivia Newton John, Suzanne Sommers, Dana Torres, Evander Holyfield and Brook Shields, to name a few.
When Doug is not in the studio, he can be found mentoring and coaching his creative programming team to formulate the next award-winning segment idea that will resonate with women.
A native Michigander, Campbell moved to South Florida in 1987. He attended Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University with studies in media, management and law.
Campbell’s passions are his faith, his family and his Detroit Red Wings. He commonly refers to his wife Kelly of 25 years as the (CHO) Chief Household Officer of the family. They have two daughters, Mackenzie (18), Courtney (14), and a son Carson (13).
